As an update checked the area around filler tube and kickdown cable dry. Does it seem pssible that it could be losing that much fluid from this location when the car isn t even running. Shift shaft area looked dry too. I ve looked and called many shops but none seem to carry it what are my options.

The plastic cable mounts needs to be removed. The area around the speedo cable fitting was damp so replaced the o ring there. It seems to leak a bunch of transmission fluid after setting for a period of time. Upon deeper inspection the flywheel dust cover had about a cup of trans fluid.

The kickdown cable port on the th350 transmission is a common issue. Took it out tonight with the new. This week i decided to put an end to this leaky madness. I am working on a 72 c10 with a 307 350 turbo combination.
